It's St.Patty's day so eat a Marshmallow Pop!

As you may know I have an insanely energetic 2 year old who loves to bake however sometimes it isn't that simple having her help in the kitchen except when it comes to these chocolate dipped marshmallows they are insanely tasty and simple to make even with a two year old. Things you will need.

1 bag of marshmallows
1bag of candy coating
1bag of 35 lollipop sticks
1set of paper straws
Sprinkles (optional)
Candy Colors (optional)

Start off by melting your candy coating to do this just follow the instructions on the package I usually choose to do the microwave method, only because it is a tad faster and easier when kids are helping out. Next put the lollipop stick in the center of the marshmallow and about halfway threw. Then dip the marshmallow in the candy coating then into the sprinkles if you choose not to put sprinkles on it that okay too I just like the way they look. Let them dry for about 15-20 minutes and then its all done. It is really  just that simple and you can add coloring to the candy coating or change the sprinkles to match the holiday or theme.

See simple as 1-2-3 these are one of the very few ways I can eat raw marshmallows. and I love how easy and fast these can be whipped up! I also have some exciting news I will be offering these little lovelies in my shop in the next week or so keep an eye out on my facebook for a special coupon code!

Few notes
  • If adding coloring to the candy coating do it right after it is fully melted add a little at a time.
  • You can use a paper straw rather then a lollipop stick.
  • You can use any candy coating you please I happened to have Wilton's brand on hand so I used that but any will work.
  • `Your child can help with every aspect of this project EXCEPT the melting process of the candy coating.
