Friday Find



Today I am introducing a new blog series called Friday Find where I basically introduce you to my “find” of the week. It can be well anything but mostly will consist of bargains that rock or blogs that I absolutely adore. This week I have a great bargain for you, let me start with the story behind it all. I recently was shopping around for the perfect white square plates I had the perfect image in my head of what I wanted I was looking for something rounded edges, an off white color and something that looked like I spent a crap ton on but really cost me almost nothing. After looking around online and not really finding what I wanted in my price range I decided to check my favorite store evaa Dollar Tree (I seriously love that store) and like always they came through they had the perfect plates they weren’t that weird bright white but the perfect simple off white (yes I am weird when it comes to the color white) they also were the perfect size not too big but not too small. So of course without a second thought I bought them and most likely am going to go back and get more. But for some reason I kept thinking I saw these plates before (well duh I saw them before I had looked at about 30 different plates that day) so I of course went through the history on my computer and spotted them on Crate & Barrel. I love that store but they are just a little too pricey for my taste don’t get me wrong their prices aren’t horrible but I know I can get the same thing or at least similar for less and guess what? I  did I got my perfect square plates for $1 at Dollar Tree where if I had gone to Crate& Barrel it would have cost me around $6. Just look at the plates below the only difference besides price is the raised edges on the Crate & Barrel plate. If you really want that raise edge though the Crate & Barrel plates are perfect and like I said before the price isn’t too bad at all just isn’t as good as a $1.
